Happy Fall

When we lived in New Jersey, Fall was one of my favorite seasons. We had a large backyard with two chestnut trees. The kids used to collect the fallen chestnuts, break them open and leave them in a pile for the squirrels to find.
With our trees and our neighbors trees we had lots of beautiful colored leaves. I loved raking the leaves in a great big pile and having the kids jump in them. (Nicole was in 3rd grade, Andrew and Lauren were in 1st grade and Heather was 2 years old). I admit that I would jump in them too. Good memories!

I like your new background...I can see why it gets you thinking about leaves and such. Autumn is my favorite season also.

How funny, on Sunday I was filling out a few pages in the Life History book I talked about on my blog, and had to write about my first home....and it had HUGE trees that we'd make roads out of tonka trucks, and rake and jump in the leaves!
Fun memories!
