school papers

Tyler is bringing home so much work from preschool. He is so proud of it all so I got him a bulletin board to display his papers. My other kids never had their own bulletin board... it's good to be the baby of the family. I hung it up on our kitchen island. I wanted it to be low enough so that he could see it and play with it if he wanted to. He likes it.

This is a really darling idea! With my daughters work, I pull out her best paper and put it in a frame in the kitchen. The rest gets filed away! Love that it is down low for his enjoyment! Way awesome! -Suzanne

I've never thought of hanging it down lower. With so many kids, I get overwhelmed with all the artwork and other papers so I make them pick their favorites and then, yep, I throw the others away (I guess that makes me a bad mom, except I do try to be "green" and use them to start our fires in the winter time).

Rebecca- There are no bad moms here. Those are only his favorites, I too tossed the rest.

Hey, I went to Seagull Books to get your book but couldn't find it. I'll try again.

That is a great idea! I bet he loves it. It really makes kids feel special to have their creations on display.
If you are like me you just didn't think of things like this when the older ones were little.
I find so many great ideas on the internet now that I sometimes wish I could go back in time to use them. So the last one gets all good stuff - ha ha.
