Let's be friends

I have been noticing that people use my blog list to visit lots of great blogland people. Let me just say that I think its great. I put so many there because at the time I didn't understand the follower thingy. I wanted to remember their URLs and thought others might like to see some great blogs too. The top list are people I know in real life and the other list are friends that I have never met but really like because I have met them through their blogs. I love a good crafty blog, a political blog, a home decor blog, a mothering blog and just plain inspirational. There is so much talent and such good mom's out there it's been such a blessing for me personally to get to know you.

I would love to meet more people so I'm requesting comments from anyone who hasn't commented before. Seriously, if you're a mom or a women I'm sure we have a lot in common. And no, you don't have to belong to my church. If you love being a women and try to be a good mom to your children I need to meet you. Really, I love learning from others.

Now, I do have a question. I finally did become a follower on a bunch of blogs. It really wasn't hard I just had to have my daughter show me what to do. My question is why doesn't my picture show up on other blogs in their follower list. It's just that blank outline head. When I comment on other peoples blogs it shows up (my cute apron) but why not on the follower list?

Now it's your turn to comment or if you'd rather email me. Press on "post a comment" at the end of the post and then press publish after you've finished writing. That explanation was for my mom. For email, press on my profile under "about me" and then press on email. That was for my mom too.

Can't wait to meet you. And if you don't know what to say just say Hi.

Hi! I used to comment more - I don't comment on anyone anymore because I haven't updated my blog forever and it is embarrassing that people might click over and see what a slacker I am. I don't follow anyone either because I use google reader to read blogs and when I was following some people I didn't like the way it showed up there. I like everything in neat rows. I'm weird like that.

I have commented before but not much.
I started following your blog because When I first moved to Arizona I wanted to find all the Arizona blogs I could, and see if I could make friends.. Well I have made a few friends from the Arizona blogs I follow but have never had the chance to meet anyone. Maybe some day I will.

Hi Lisa!

You know me through blog land.. but not in the real life YET!
Maybe one day... :)

I used to comment on every post I read.. but now it can be hard sometimes to read and comment on them all.. so I do what I can.

I'm a big believer in blogging without obligation. :)

So, we have already met--on blogs, but I am going to comment anyway. And maybe someday we will actually meet in person!

I started out with my blog the same way! I didn't even know that "following" even existed! But I do like the list of bloggers buddies on my sidebar that pop up and I can see who posted right away...
I have a problem, though, when other bloggers "follow" me, because they only want me to "follow" their heavily advertised blogs. I have nothing against earning a little money from blogging, but, if you are goint to follow me, please actually read my posts and comment as you see fit...
There, got That out of my system!

I have the same problem with my photo not showing up on blogs I follow. If you figure out how to fix it let me know!

Yeah- I'm so glad you all commented. As soon as I published I thought crap, what if no one comments. So thanks!

Pedaling- I love the wedding pictures and the political posts. And dang girl, you're funny.

Jolene- I miss you. You were the first blog I ever commented on and you wrote me back. I felt like I was in Jr. High and just made a new friend. Notice I did NOT post everyday this Nov. like last year- it was really hard and I didn't need the pressure. Hope your family is well.

Gramee- I didn't know you recently moved to AZ. We have lived here 12 years now. I love it every winter and even the summers now with our pool. Okay, I still complain when its 110. That's just crazy weather.

Ann Marie- You are the sweetest person. I love your great DI finds and your organization. And of course Team Edward. I love that you love being married to your Chad and how cutesy you are when you talk about him.

Joy- I know your name is Lori but I like Joy because that's what you give me. I know that sounds corny but it's true. To say that I have been inspired by you is an understatement. Your posts uplift me and I hope to pick up some of your party hosting skills too.

Loralee- interesting about the advertised blog followers- you're right it doesn't seem genuine. If your gonna be a friend I think you should be genuine even in blogland. I like you're honesty and am inspired by your running.

Tammy- it's still a mystery about the picture thingy. I'm thankful that I know you in real life. I would be lost in primary without you. Really,I feel like you keep me together.

I would love to one day meet all of you. It's comforting to know that having my kids in states where I know some of you live, could call on you to help them if needed. Now I'm totally assuming this but I'm comforted anyway.

Just checked ya out after you left a commet on my blog. I love seeing others blogs and think it's great to get to know others. Do you live in AZ? We lived in Mesa, AZ for 11 years before we moved to Utah about 2 1/2 years ago. Keep blogging.

Okay, I cannot believe this...but I'm not showing up as a follower of your blog...but I love it!

Don't know about the picture thing...sorry!

:) Hi. Nice to meet you. :)

I'm sure someone answered you already, but the reason your picture isn't showing up is because somehow you subscribed anonymously. At least I'm pretty sure that's why. :)

And I prefer to subscribe in reader. It REALLY cuts down on the time I spend blogging. :)
