Released

Well today's the day. I've been released from my calling as Primary President after 3 years almost 4 . I love serving in primary and teaching the children about gospel truths. Seeing first hand their testimonies grow. I hope I've made a difference and taught them what our Heavenly Father would have them know. I've tried to rely heavily on inspiration. Thanks to all the teachers and leaders who have served with me, there has been a lot over the years. Our Heavenly Father loves his little children that I know.
Guess it's time to reacquaint myself with the RS. Maybe I'll peek in on Heather in YW.
Oh the Possibilities!

Lisa, you were an awesome Primary President! It was a pleasure working with you when I was RS Presidet and also, most recently, as a Primary teacher. Thank you for all of your wonderful service. The children (and the teachers) could all feel of your love for them and your love for the gospel. THANK YOU!

I miss Primary too! There is nothing like it. Sweet kids, awesome songs and strong spirit as gospel truths are being taught. It wonderful to see their testimonies grow. What an important time for them to find out for themselves. Thanks for letting me serve with you. It was a great experience and I learned a lot from your example.

It's so hard leaving Primary! I was also released from the Nursery, which I LOVE and was called into the RS presidency. It was a very emotional for me when I said my goodbyes to all the nursery children.

I cried all through RS. Good luck with your possibilities!

Sounds like a day of changes for several people. Yesterday I was released from RS presidency. It felt sad but comfortable sitting on the back row.

Good luck in the near future with changes!

I am sure you will be very much missed! I think it is so hard to be released from a calling. I always cry and feel sad, but then after a short time I get into my new one and am just as grateful for that. Best of luck in your new adventures!

I always love being in Primary, but I think after 4 years of being the president a break was well deserved!

Ha Ha Lisa. I just read your post. I loved working with you in Primary. You were a great Primary President to work with because you always listened to my crazy idea's. I'm sad because I love the children. And I love to sing with them. I know Amy will be awesome because we used to do it together a long time ago. She's a hoot. Thanks for everything. Not sure about YW's though. too stressful :)

Thanks for your kind comments on my blog. It's nice to find yours. Change is hard, but change is good. I think I will be in Primary for a few more years myself--my turn for sharing time today. I am curious about what your next adventure will be.
