Back to School

We are so happy that Nicole had a break and could come home! I am having such fun with her. Her birthday is coming up in a few weeks so we've been doing lots of birthday shopping and back to school shopping. She is fabulous and I feel so lucky to be her mother and friend!

We started school this week. Heathers first day as a sophomore! She starts at 6:30 and ends her day at 5:00. She has decided to play Badminton after school that's why her day is so long.

I packed her a lunch and put in a little love note. So fun! Luckily she wasn't embarrassed.

Tyler is so excited for Kindergarten! He had a batman backpack (it even has a black cape that velcro's on). I'll have to get a better picture of it. He is excited to have lunch at school and loves his monster lunch bag. The green necklace is from his teacher at "Back to School Night" so he'd be able to find her. There are 4 Kindergarten classes this year.

Last year in preschool he made this bracelet. It has a 5 and a T on it for his age and name. He told me I should wear it while he's at school in case I get lonely without him. So sweet!

In line waiting to go in. The teacher is in red. Notice how she is talking to the boy and lovingly touching his face. She is very kind and sweet. He's in good hands.

Nicole picked Tyler up on the first day and took a picture with cousin Cody. They're not in the same Kindergarten class which is sad for Ty but hopefully it will be a good thing.

Awe I loved school shopping when the boys were young. It was always fun to have the list and check it off as we bought the supplies.

As for clothes shopping....the boys hated it,(well when they got old enough to realize they hated it) I loved it.

I would drag them out and promise them lunch or a treat, anything to get them to go.

Tyler is at the perfect age, and look at him all big with his backpack and standing in line. What a sweetie I bet you are going to miss him!

Your girls are so beautiful!!

I love kindergarten even though the schedule is a killer for a working mother! Had the best year this year watching my baby blossom!
