My blog friend Lara is going through a difficult time. Her teenage son Spencer recently got diagnosed with AML, Acute Myeloid Leukemia. I'm just so broken up about it and ask you to visit her and send your prayers to her and her family.
Lara is one of those rare people who touch peoples lives and change them for the better. I remember when I first found her blog. She did a post about her birthday. Instead of receiving gifts she wanted to give gifts to others. She documented 25 plus random acts of kindness her and her kids did. She also has a wonderful recipe blog and FHE lesson blog.

I am so sorry for your friend. That is such a difficult thing. The good news is that hope of recovery is so much higher today than in the past. We will certainly send prayers her way.
