130 lb. quest

I went to get weighed today and wouldn't you know it 3 counselors were out sick, meaning the wait would be long.  I decided to get my food and go.  Before I left, I sneaked onto their scale (I don't weigh myself on any other scale).  It said I was up 6 pounds.  Which is not good but I'm really not that surprised.  I've been having a hard time focusing on me and my food with everything else going on. (packing, moving, unpacking, wedding plans, grand baby's arrival, etc...)  Eating right takes time, discipline and preparation.  If you don't make it a priority then you'll pay the consequences.  I'm hoping that my life gets back to normal soon.  But it doesn't look like it.  I need to try to figure out a balance.  If I can I know it will help me for the rest of my life.  Finding joy in the journey....not just the destination!

love.

I totally know what you mean! When I first changed my eating habits, I felt like it was a full time job trying to figure out what to eat and when to eat it. When you are committed to eating healthy, you can't just go to McDonald's and get a fast meal. Planning is the key and sometimes it can be so time consuming!
