identity crisis

I've changed my blog name a couple of times already. I know, I'm such a dork. Let me explain... Pulsipher Page is the name that the family picked. I was worried about having our name in the title so I've been thinking and trying to be inspired by what to change it to. One day I discovered Joy for your Journey and just loved her blog. I then without thinking to much changed our name to Finding Joy in our Journey. Slightly different but basically the same. I have gotten to know her a bit through blogging and consider her a friend. And you know you don't steal from friends. Now maybe she could be flattered that I copied her but I've been feeling bad about it sooo back to Pulsipher Page. Now you all know what a dork I am but at least my conscience feels better.

No worries, I do stuff like that all the time. But Pulsipher Page is catchy and now your conscience is clear. Just so you know if I ever have a good idea (I think I've had 2 in my life) I'm always flattered that someone wants to copy it, so feel free!

you are hilarious. I've thought about doing away with the whole blog thing all together because I don't want all my info. on here for all the crazy pyscho people. Then I think...even if I didn't have a blog, they could still find out my info. That's why I never put people's last names...not that they couldn't find out.---see what I mean? :) I'm with Patrice-I find it flattering when someone copy's me.

Well, there's only so many great titles out there -- people need to realize unless they're copyrighted, they have to share! But personally, I like Pulsiper Page...just my opinion!

Lisa- Ready for a novel comment?

Some good thoughts...
First of all.. Do you not want me to have you on my sidebar? I will take you off if it bothers you.. I have alot of friends that go down my list daily and check out the blogs I have listed there.. And if you don't want the traffic, then I will take it off. I just want to remember to come here, and with my memory.. If I don't put it there, I forget.

With safety in blogging.. There is SOO many stories that float around, but I have never heard of one myself with a blog-stalker.. I am careful not to post anything about what city I live in, schools my kids go to and such.. but really.. people can find out so much about my family and I--and it has noting to do with blogging.

I have found Blogging to be an EXCELLENT missionary tool. Many women that I have become friends with from Germany read my blog, my testimony, and some have asked me questions. I had to e-mail one of them and explain that I am NOT a polygamist, and I do try to explain things on a different term when I talk about the church.

On my sidebar there is a button that links to the church's site. I feel that the gospel is being spread by many incredible women and their examples. You never know when a seed will be planted. Your blog is great, and I feel it can also be a source for good.

You have to make a personal decision whether to go private or not, but I have made Incredible friends, and hope that I can make an influence on someone out there. I am very imperfect, and not the best writer-- but I try everyday.
I also have another journal that I will print! Yay!

Sorry for the novel comment.. Let me know if you are bothered about the link...

Oh and... I thought I was the "only" old fashioned girl. Nope.. And I have seen alot of "joy in the Journey's" also!

I think blogging is so personal, like journalling, that one should have the freedom to name it whatever one wants, so choose your love and love your choice!
