Lauren had her last Choir Concert. They sang one of my favorite songs "Come Thou Fount Of Every Blessing" which sounded beautiful, right up there with the Mormon Tabernacle Choir. (okay not really but it was good) I cried. She also received the most improved choir member trophy. She kids around and says that it's the, "You used to suck award"
A bunch of kids with Mr. Hickman the Asst. Choir Director who is moving onto another HS next year to head up their choir program.
They also recognize all graduating seniors and spotlight them. Her choir teacher of 4 years said that Lauren is the happiest person she knows. Very sweet!

Aww..that is my 2nd favorite song...Come Thou Fount...and I don't mind who sings it...its' perfect every time.

Congratulations to her! My daughter got most improved for her basketball team and made a similar comment. But I told her--Improvement can begin at any level--it doesn't have to mean you were once bad, it just suggests that you worked very hard and got even better.:-)
