love notes

For FHE tonight we made "love notes" for Valentines Day. I put them up in the kitchen since that is the place we seem to be in most of the time. Tyler loved it. He loves everything about FHE. Last week he asked me if we could have family night every night. So sweet! I love seeing all the happy love notes. And yes kids, yours are in the mail...

I saw this idea on a blog but I can't remember where. Sorry I can't give credit where it's do.

I do this...only I COVER an entire glass sliding door with 'em for all of the kids.
I write things I love about each kid individually. I better get busy!

Darling idea! My daughter always asks why we never have Valentines decor. This would be a very easy and great way to do together. BTW - my FHE last night was by my daughter. She talked about the state of Colorado and who is from Colorado? Barbie! Ha! She too loves FHE like your son! I enjoy just watching her! Have a wonderful day! -Suzanne

Yes.. this is fun.
I love that your mailing them to your kids that are in college too.

It was so nice when I was at that age to just have my Mom or Dad call me just to say that they loved me.. if for nothing else!

My kids LOVE FHE too. Ours was in the car driving.. and on the way to Lowes. We had a lot of weird looks when my kids were repeating the Articles of Faith out loud as we walked in. ~ A weird night.. but we had it!

How cute!! I love that idea. I need to do more for my girls for Valentines, but seriously, my husband is going to be lucky to get something. I just haven't been into it this year. I guess between my MIL passing away and both my parents having surgery it just hasn't been a great six weeks. My poor kids though. Hmmmm. Okay, I am going to do better. In fact I think I will go to the store right now to buy them something to send. Thanks for the encouragment. :-)

Great idea. I worry what my kids might put ont their hearts. Their always digging at each other. They think it's funny, I call it annoying. EITHER WAY...great idea.
