Simple Womans Daybook- June

THE SIMPLE WOMAN'S DAY BOOK

Outside my window...
It's getting hot outside. It was 111 yesterday. I'm trying to keep my plants alive. Lauren has been spray painting her thrifty finds in the backyard. They are laying around awaiting their 2nd and 3rd coats.

I am thinking...
Life is busy but life is sure good!

I am thankful...
for my temple covenants which seal our family together.

I am praying...
for me to find a mother of the bride dress. I can't find one that I like well enough.

I am reading...
The Book of Mormon and loving it. It's giving me peace and direction.

I am creating...
healthy menu's

From the kitchen...
Chicken Taco's with avocados for dinner

Around the house...
watching "Elmo in Grouchland" for the 5th time

One of my favorite things..
a pedicure

A few plans for the rest of the week...
Andrew's mission call arriving, putting in a new kitchen faucet, picking up Heather from EFY, dentist appts, wedding dress alterations, play dates,

That's a lot to do in 111 degree weather! Good luck with the dress hunting!

I enjoyed reading all of them, but the one that caught my eye and touched my mother's heart?--the mission call wait.
Oh, what an anxious time waiting for that perfect white envelope to come in the mail!! Are you doing anything special when it comes, like videoing it??
I'm still crossing my fingers that he comes to Colorado Springs!

I love it. But not the temperature! Ugh...that is one of the reasons we left AZ. Too hot for me!

111? Yowza. No wonder you have a pool. It should be a must to own one if you live in AZ..

I want to see all of the cute stuff your daughter is painting! So much fun!!

I'm sorry about the dress. I will pray that you find one. Seriously.

Thank you for your kind e-mail to me this past month. It means a lot to me that you care.. and took the time. I am very GRATEFUL today for your friendship.

Can't wait to hear about his call.. and keep us informed on the dress!
