Temple Groundbreaking

We went to the Gilbert Arizona Temple Groundbreaking on Saturday. Elder Claudio Costa of the Presidency of the Seventy said the Dedicatory Prayer. It was beautiful and uplifting. I am so excited to live even closer to the new temple.
I was over come with emotions while singing the last verse of How Firm A Foundation:

The soul that on Jesus hath leaned for repose
I will not, I cannot, desert to his foes;
That soul, though all hell should endeavor to shake,
I'll never, no never, I'll never, no never,
I'll never, no never, no never forsake!

Also, my 15 year daughter did a "catch up" blog post. If you want to visit go here.

That is so awesome!
I remember the dedication of the Rexburg Temple, there was an estimated 5000 people there.

There is nothing like a temple!
How close will that be to you?

I had not seen a picture of what this Temple is going to look like. I love it - it looks like it will be large too!
It is so exciting to get a Temple close to you - it will be fun for you and your family to be a part of the Celebrations that go along with a new Temple!

Brings back memories of when our Temple was built. We were so excited that this one is an easy hour drive as to the next closes one which is over a mountain pass and two hours away.
