* My mom is doing well after her shoulder replacement surgery. Its been 3 weeks already and she is making good progress with physical therapy. The only issue she has is taking the pain medication. (if it works great for pain then she gets dizzy/ loopy). She hates being dizzy so we are tring to regulate her meds. She is still planning on going back on a mission, probably springtime or early summer.

* Andrew's arm turned out to be a bad sprain and not a break. Its been about a week so far and he can move his fingers without pain so maybe another week or two before he's back. His sisters have been very good about helping him do things since he only has his right arm. He has had a good lesson in gratitude and kindness. I hope he doesn't push it because he is getting very bored (he even started reading Twilight).

* I've been doing a lot of reflecting lately. Remember in the "Notebook" where the main character says, "I like to paint, I haven't done it for a while but I'm going to take it up again" Well that's how I've been feeling lately. Now I'm definitely not a painter but I've stopped doing the things that I love to do. Things like decorating, cooking, organizing, exercising, trash to treasure shopping, and even making time for friends have taken a back seat to all my other responsibilities and I've missed them. My goal is to make time for them. I've got some organizing/decorating projects in mind already. Can't wait to get started.

I can totally relate to what you are saying! You have got to be able to fill your cup once in a while. Good for you!
