Synchro and Morp

Lauren is one of the coaches for a synchronized swim team, the Desert Dolphins. She has been involved with synchro for 8 years now so its nice that she gets paid for all the time she put into it over the years. She really loves working with the little girls. These pictures were taken at a recent synchronized swim meet.

Lauren asked her friend Cody to Morp (its a backwards prom, girl ask boy dance) This is his answer to her. It says, "I wouldn't want to burst your bubble so of course I'll go to morp with you!" When she asked him she had a bunch of balloons that said, "Don't burst my bubble, go to morp with me." Cute! Whatever happened to calling someone up on the phone like the good ol' days?

She is adorable! You can tell she is a sweet and kind girl!

When I went to school we went all out asking and answering boys to dances also.. It drove my Mom crazy that we spent so much just on asking!! Too fun...

Is she the one that likes Shabby Chic? I hope you'll show her room one day..

Yes, she is my shabby chic girl. Posting pictures is on my list of things to do. The problem is my "list" is very long. Its a great room- so her.

Thanks for stopping by! And for your sweet words. It looks like you understand the loss of a child first hand. Your blog is awesome!

What a darling girl! Isn't it so much fun to watch our kids grow up and find themselves. I have four daughters and as they age we all become better and better friends. What a blessing that has been for me. And what a blessing your very cute daughter appears to be for you!
