Random stuff

Well... I've been sick with a nasty cold for a while and then gave it to T. Haven't done much of anything. When I did start to feel better I got the urge to cook. I decided to put all my cookbooks together. I really don't know why I've never done this before. Maybe because I didn't realize I had this many. Wow, I'm a recipe freak- I guess I'll have to cook more.

Now I have to clean up this side of the counter too. It's on my to do list. I'll show you it when I'm done. I'm thinking fruit bowl instead of junk area. But what to do with all the junk?

I thought this was so funny. I wanted to put out a few Halloween decorations and asked H for help. She likes holiday decorating and enjoys deciding where things should go. A bunch of stuff was sitting in a pile waiting for her and T decided to decorate instead. Since he's only about 3 feet tall the decorations didn't make it very high off the ground.

He's finally feeling better. Watch out sister you might be next.

Sorry you havent been feeling well!
I have been crazy-busy de-junking lately as well.. I do it every 6 months.. and I'm always amazed at how much I accumulate during that time! Craziness!

Too cute about the Decorations.. :)

OH MAN....So sorry you've been sick.

Love how you had a little bit of help putting up the decor. It must be fun to have a 3' helper. Just warms my heart.

Feel better!

I am sorry you are sick. That is never fun.

So I learned one more thing we have in common. I too have numerous cookbooks, so many that I have forgotten I even had most of them. And I rarely use any of them.

And I have the same question--what do you do with the junk you need to put somewhere? Some you can throw away, but the rest?? It is all on my dining room table, in piles on the desk in the office, stacked in the corner . . .
