5. What age do you think is appropriate to have the "bird and the bees" talk with your children?
earlier than you'd think. I think it depends on the child and if they're ready. My children were at different ages when they had the talk. Some asked lots of questions and others couldn't wait for it to be over. They each felt loved, valued and respected which also was our goal. I'd say somewhere between 2nd grade and 5th grade. I wanted them to hear it from us instead of false truths from someone else. I made a book for each of my kids except my youngest. Guess I'll have to get moving on his.

They should have a contest to see who can eat the most amount of a taco without it falling apart. I certainly wouldn't win!
