Happy Sunday

Marjorie Pay Hinckley - “I don't want to drive up to the pearly gates in a shiny sports car, wearing beautifully, tailored clothes, my hair expertly coiffed, and with long, perfectly manicured fingernails. I want to drive up in a station wagon that has mud on the wheels from taking kids to scout camp. I want to be there with a smudge of peanut butter on my shirt from making sandwiches for a sick neighbors children. I want to be there with a little dirt under my fingernails from helping to weed someone's garden. I want to be there with children's sticky kisses on my cheeks and the tears of a friend on my shoulder. I want the Lord to know I was really here and that I really lived.”

One last thing before you leave...

If you know me, you know that if a read a good quote and I really like it, it will become part of our wall decorations. Here's the newest one that I posted on the inside of our garage door. The door most of us use to leave the house.
Why is it that I need to remind myself of good things?
Hopefully it reminds the kids that they really can be an influence for good in someones life and that their example does matter.

This is what's on the other side of the same door. What we all see when we come home.

I added pictures to a previously published post. Go here if you want to see an actual picture of me. Since I will be making a blog book I wanted to include them.
