Taking a break

I'm in a blog fog.  To be honest my life is a bit foggy.  Thinking about making some changes, maybe even to my diet plan.  While I figure it out I'll be taking a break from blogging.  You can probably tell that I haven't been very consistent in posting lately.   Blame it on the fog.  Not sure how long I'll be away or if anyone is out there listening anyway.
If you are still there how about joining me in watching General Conference this weekend.  It's the perfect way for me to get direction, purpose and peace.  I'll be watching all the sessions.  So excited.  Conference Bags are ready.  In fact it's very possible the fog could be gone after this weekend.....maybe.

Random Goodness
I love this house.  We had Nicole's wedding reception here.  Lauren took her bridal pictures here before her wedding.  We used those pictures at her reception. Isn't it beautiful?  It's owned by a lady from the south (Alabama I think) who wanted to recreate the beauty of the south here in the desert.

My new favorite recipe book
I collect recipes and recipe books.  This new one is awesome because I like every single recipe in it. That never happens.  The author reminds me of me.  We like the same types of  foods and think about food the same way. We both have German relatives that have influenced our cooking.  Seriously, we could be twins.

Tyler's robot
He make it for a school project.  His name is Robo.

Kid's bathroom
I looked forever for just the right towel hooks. I couldn't find them anywhere so we had to built them.

The Gilbert temple still under construction.  I've heard it should be completed late fall.
Can't wait!

Snow in Arizona

What a crazy weather day we had yesterday.
I've seen snow in the mountains up by Flagstaff but never in the valley.

It's all gone now except for the Superstition Mountains. It's suppose to get back up to the 60's today and then into the 70's next week.  What a fun surprise though!  I had to get out my BearPaw boots.  I haven't worn them since I was in Idaho for Millie's baby blessing and in Utah for Michael and Nicole's Open House last month.

Just a walk in the park....

I got caught in this on my walk today

And I felt a lot like this

Completely drenched. It was quite a sight. I felt 10 years old again. My walking buddy had a good laugh!
